Amex Adds New Benefits to Delta SkyMiles(R) Credit Card
American Express and Delta Air Lines today announced new benefits to their Delta SkyMiles Cards from American Express for consumer and small business Cardmembers. Now, Cardmembers can take advantage of richer benefits, including earning additional bonus miles when using the Card and getting companion certificates upon renewal with no blackout dates and no minimum fare restrictions.

New Enhanced Features: * Earn Bonus Miles by Using Your Card. Every year, Cardmembers can: - Earn 1,000 bonus miles for reaching $5,000 in eligible purchases with the Delta SkyMiles(R) Options Credit Card(1) - Earn 2,500 bonus miles for reaching $10,000 in eligible purchases with the Delta SkyMiles(R) Credit Card or the Delta SkyMiles(R) Business Credit Card(2) - Earn 5,000 bonus miles for reaching $15,000 in eligible purchases, plus an additional 5,000 bonus miles for reaching a total of $25,000 in eligible purchases with the Delta SkyMiles(R) Gold Credit Card or the Delta SkyMiles (R) Business Gold Credit Card(3) - Earn an additional 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs)(4) for reaching $50,000 in eligible purchases with the Delta SkyMiles(R) Platinum Credit Card or the Delta SkyMiles(R) Platinum Business Credit Card. Medallion Status gives Cardmembers extraordinary privileges, such as unlimited complimentary domestic upgrades, priority boarding, preferred seating(5), discounted Crown Room Club(R) membership(6), and more. Currently, Cardmembers earn 10,000 MQMs toward Delta’s elite Medallion status for reaching $25,000 in eligible purchases. * Earn companion certificates upon renewal with no blackout dates and no minimum fare restrictions.
